Research compound supplied in Australia by Pulse Biolabs for laboratory use. Available in 10mg, 20mg.
Tesamorelin keeps the complete growth hormone-releasing hormone sequence and adds a single chemical cap to stop it being cut apart. It is one of the few compounds here that went all the way through clinical trials.
Tesamorelin is a copy of the full growth hormone-releasing hormone sequence with one chemical cap that stops blood enzymes destroying it, so the pituitary receives a longer-lasting instruction to release growth hormone. Randomised trials in adults with HIV-related abdominal fat accumulation measured reduced visceral fat, the basis of a US approval for that indication only; liver-fat findings in the same population and one smaller trial in adults without HIV remain investigational. It is not approved in Australia.

2 published reports for Tesamorelin, listed by presentation and batch. Where a batch reference is shown, match it to the batch on the vial label; a report for an earlier batch is historical documentation and does not describe the batch currently supplied. Where no batch reference is published, the report cannot be matched to a vial and is historical documentation only. No report is published for 20mg. Each report describes the sample and the tests shown on it. A purity result does not by itself establish identity, quantity, sterility or endotoxin status unless those tests appear on the report, and a report for one batch does not describe another.

Supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. Store sealed and protected from light at the conditions stated on the product label or supplied specification. Solvent choice, concentration and handling after reconstitution depend on the compound and on the laboratory’s own procedures, and are not specified here.
Tesamorelin is approved in the United States (Egrifta SV) for the reduction of excess abdominal fat in HIV-infected adults with lipodystrophy, per the FDA label. It is not an approved medicine in Australia. Growth hormone-releasing factors are prohibited at all times in sport under WADA category S2.
