NAD+

Research compound supplied in Australia by Pulse Biolabs for laboratory use. Available in 500mg, 1000mg.

Pulse Research // 006  ·  Redox coenzyme

NAD+ is the molecule that carries them. Research asks what happens when its supply changes with age, and whether that can be altered.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell, not a peptide. It carries electrons through the reactions that turn fuel into usable energy and is consumed by enzymes involved in metabolism and DNA repair. Researchers study it because tissue levels appear to decline with age. Evidence comes from cells, rodents and short human trials, most of which used oral precursors such as NR or NMN rather than NAD+ itself; a small pilot has examined intravenous NAD+ in people.

Batch documents

1 published report for NAD+, listed by presentation and batch. Where a batch reference is shown, match it to the batch on the vial label; a report for an earlier batch is historical documentation and does not describe the batch currently supplied. Where no batch reference is published, the report cannot be matched to a vial and is historical documentation only. No report is published for 1000mg. Each report describes the sample and the tests shown on it. A purity result does not by itself establish identity, quantity, sterility or endotoxin status unless those tests appear on the report, and a report for one batch does not describe another.

Handling

Supplied as a solid in a sealed vial. This is not a peptide: store sealed, dry and protected from light at the conditions stated on the label or supplied specification. Solubility and solution stability are compound-specific and are not specified here.

Status and limitations

NAD+ is not listed by name in the current Poisons Standard (June 2026) and no NAD+ medicine is approved in Australia for an age-related or energy indication.

Status checked 2026-09-23. Details and sources in the research note.
