Research compound supplied in Australia by Pulse Biolabs for laboratory use. Available in 10mg.
GLP-1 is not the only hormone that tells the brain a meal is over. Cagrilintide was built to study a second one, amylin, on its own and alongside semaglutide.
Cagrilintide is a synthetic, long-acting analogue of amylin, the pancreatic hormone released with insulin that contributes to the feeling of fullness after a meal. Researchers use it to study a fullness signal that works separately from GLP-1. Evidence comes from human trials in adults with overweight or obesity, on its own in a phase 2 trial and, most extensively, combined with semaglutide in the REDEFINE 1 phase 3 trial. It remains an investigational compound.
