Research compound supplied in Australia by Pulse Biolabs for laboratory use. Available in 5mg.
Cells spend a vitamin-derived building block in two directions. 5-Amino-1MQ is studied as a way of blocking the enzyme that diverts it.
5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small synthetic molecule, not a peptide, studied as an inhibitor of NNMT, an enzyme that consumes nicotinamide, the building block of NAD+, and the methyl donor SAM. It is of interest because NNMT is more active in fat tissue in obesity models and because blocking it changes NAD+ and SAM levels inside cells. Evidence comes from cultured cells and mice; no human trials have been published. Supplied for laboratory research.

Supplied as a solid in a sealed vial. This is not a peptide: store sealed, dry and protected from light at the conditions stated on the label or supplied specification. Solubility and solution stability are compound-specific and are not specified here.
5-Amino-1MQ is not an approved medicine in Australia (no ARTG entry identified) and has no marketing approval identified elsewhere; it is an investigational small molecule with no published human trials.
